Challenge

Create a brand that creatively reflected the first internship program and attracted a younger audience.

In response to competitors and the great lack of new talent, Nubank recognized the need to create a strong brand that connects with young people.

Driven by a commitment to staying current while aligning with company values, brand creation would have to be total – from visual aesthetics and messaging to a profound reimagining of the overall brand experience.

Challenge

Create a tagline that creatively reflected the first internship program too.

A brand for the program was not enough; it was also important to have a tagline that conveyed exactly what the program would be.

The Internship Program aims to train young people internally and for the market, with the Nubank way, young people will start their careers.

The tagline had to be simple and direct. And it was.

Goal

I did extensive research with my team, refined the brand's message and created an entirely new look.

I meticulously refined the brand message for authenticity and creativity. Beyond the shapes, I created a visual identity that really shows its unique essence.

In the symbol I chose the steps, to demonstrate that every beginning is step by step until success.

This approach combines refined messaging and captivating visual aesthetics, ensuring audience engagement in a meaningful way.

Result

The program was a success, beyond expectations, it had great public engagement, record registrations and was awarded at the LinkedIn Talent Awards

The new brand, tagline and message very successfully attracted its target audience.

The result was a great success, incredible adherence to the program beyond expectations, in all years (2022, 2023 and 2024), many registrations and placed Nubank as one of the biggest companies to intern.

In 2023, the Nubank 2023 Internship Program helped win the LinkedIn Talent Awards, as best employer company.

The company now has a stronger, more compelling brand presence, setting the stage for continued success.
